چکیده

Vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin, is essential for maintaining human health. The purpose of this study was to isolate novel lactic acid bacteria that overproduce vitamin B2 and validate their potential probiotics. In study, Lactobacillus plantarum HY7715 (HY7715) selected among isolated from Kimchi. showed a very high riboflavin-producing ability compared the control strain due expression ribA, ribB, ribC, ribH, ribG genes. produced 34.5 ± 2.41 mg/L riboflavin 24 h without consuming in medium under optimal growth conditions. It able produce an vitro model intestinal environment. addition, when deficiency induced mice through nutritional restriction, higher levels were detected plasma urine administration group than group. survival rate simulated gastrointestinal conditions had antibiotic resistance below cutoff MIC value suggested by European Food Safety Authority; moreover, it did not cause hemolysis. conclusion, could be considered beneficial probiotic animal applications, suggesting new alternative address deficiency.

Probiotic Characteristics of Lactobacillus plantarum FH185 Isolated from Human Feces

Lactobacillus plantarum FH185 was isolated from the feces of healthy adults. In our previous study, L. plantarum FH185 was demonstrated that it has anti-obesity effect in the in vitro and in vivo test. In order to determine its potential for use as a probiotic, we investigated the physiological characteristics of L. plantarum FH185. The optimum growth temperature of L. plantarum FH185 was 40℃. ...

Reduction of Aflatoxin B1 Toxicity by Lactobacillus plantarum C88: A Potential Probiotic Strain Isolated from Chinese Traditional Fermented Food “Tofu”

In this study, we investigated the potential of Lactobacillus plantarum isolated from Chinese traditional fermented foods to reduce the toxicity of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), and its subsequent detoxification mechanism. Among all the investigated L. plantarum strains, L. plantarum C88 showed the strongest AFB1 binding capacity in vitro, and was orally administered to mice with liver oxidative damage ...

Potential probiotic characterization of Lactobacillus plantarum strains isolated from Inner Mongolia "Hurood" cheese.

Total 121 lactic acid bacteria were isolated from homemade Inner Mongolia extra hard Hurood cheese. Seven of these strains, identified as Lactobacillus plantarum, were studied for probiotic characteristics. All seven strains survived at pH 3.0 for 3 h, or in the presence of oxgall at 0.3% or 0.6% for 4 h, but their viabilities were affected to different extents at pH 2.0 for 3 h. Strains C37 an...
